Hi guys! I'm Laura Michele, the creator of Atomic Lace, and the artist behind all the designs you'll find here! Based in the Chicagoland area, I opened my shop "doors" in the summer of 2012 and found a piece of myself I had been missing. Art and fashion are dear to me because they both have something fundamental in common, self expression.

I can't seem to stick to one design style, and I don't even try to anymore like I did in the beginning. I create for all different types of alternative styles because I myslef am a little of each of them. I don't feel anyone has to define their personal style or try to make it fit into a particular fashion category. Never categorize yourself! We are all made up of pieces of so many things!
